My Main Objective ~
The objective of my
business is to provide a high quality product, reliable service for my customers, and to have fun doing it. I
hope you have enjoyed your visit to my web site and that you'll drop in and visit often! :-)

The Colors of My Life ~
Hiya! My name is Kerry and
I'm glad to make your acquaintance! It's
always a good thing to make new
friends!
Let me tell you a little about
myself . . .
I
am a single, old-enough-to-know-better, Southern-fried yankee. I was raised in the great states of New Jersey and
Pennsylvania, but have spent the past 17 years here in Tennessee. I have traveled quite a bit through the United
States and Canada, greatly due to having spent a few years as an over-the-road long haul truck driver. I've since settled
down a bit. Now I am happily employed locally and get to come home and do the things I love to do ~ mainly country line-dance
and build candles. I am far from single-minded, though. I also love spending time with my friends, playing slow-pitch
softball, quilting, going for long drives out in the country, doing challenger crosswords. As long as I'm being productive and
creative, I am a very happy person, indeed! :-) And I have found that creating beauty is the most fulfilling
thing I can possibly do . . .
I have tried to bring my
passion for life to you through my
business and this
web site. I hope that I have been able to share with you my perspective on existing - beauty, is in fact, in the eye
of the beholder.
May
you be graced with the ability to love like you've never been hurt ~
Peace ~
Kerry :)

About Kerry's Candleworks . . .
Like
everyone else in the world, I had been interested in starting
my own business for more
years than I can remember. I am excited and quite proud to finally have reached that goal. Being able to bring it to you on the web makes the process even more
exciting!
I'd like to tell you that Kerry's
Candleworks (formerly Glowing Legacies) started, really, out of boredom. Trying to find a different creative outlet, something
away from quilting & needlecrafts, I spent a few days scoping out eBay. I took many
different avenues - things I enjoyed doing, things I liked to shop for, things that made me feel
good about myself and where I live. Incense! Candles?! Oh, yeah! :p)
After the excitement
of winning the bid on a gel kit (this had been my first eBay experience!), I just had to delve
into making the candles from scratch. What a lovely 7 year (and counting!) jaunt it has been!
I would like to take the time
and space right now to thank the following people, my friends, for their support, love, patience, and creative input ~
Mikey "Computer God" Reagan, "Little David" Koth, Dickson Hadleigh-West, Jay Reeves, Kim Katona,
Cathy Walker & Patrick "Mazrati" James, Teresa Stephens, Rob "Crackhead" Pressley, Robert Parham, Stacey "Chaser" McGee,
Christine Harding, Bobby "Gator" Rutledge, Brian "Foo" Royer and Frank "Pygmy" Smith.
Thanks and I love you.
